Sculpt With Sculptra®
Restoring your youth has never been easier–Sculptra® utilizes innovative technology to bring back buoyant, supple skin while still giving you a natural look.
While most fillers rely on hyaluronic acid, Sculptra® is made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a bio-stimulator injectable. What this means is that PLLA will naturally work into your skin to stimulate collagen production for longer-lasting results.
This treatment uses a liquid base instead of a gel, allowing for greater coverage and penetration within the skin. This creates a natural, buildable look–you will normally see the greatest results from Sculptra® about 4-9 months after treatment.
What Does it Benefit?
While this treatment is similar to other fillers, Sculptra® has unique properties that produce individualized results. The areas of the face that respond best to Sculptra® fillers are:
- Lower Face
The Treatment Process
This treatment utilizes a numbing agent to ensure optimal comfort and relaxation. Like a typical injection, your Evolve Medical provider will mark the areas for the injection and carefully inject the filler under your skin.
Sculptra® does not show results right away, but the collagen will slowly build over time, leaving you with smooth, supple skin for years to come.
It is important to note that healthy individuals without compromised immune systems are the best candidate for Sculptra®–as well as those without keloid scarring.
What Are the Results?
To receive optimal results, it is best to abstain from heavy exercise and alcohol directly after your Sculptra® treatment. This allows the filler to set in its proper place and disperse evenly.
You will begin to see some results three months after your initial treatment. However, you can expect youthful, supple skin for over two years following Sculptra® injections.
